My friend Sara runs a blog for her son, Marcus who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) September 18th 2011. Ever so often she will ask me for help with some design work. This Cause hits a bit close to home for me because I myself suffer from hemochromotosis which is sometimes dubbed iron diabetes. Grant you I was diagnosed when I was in my late teens so it didn’t really effect my childhood.
What I did for them this year was their team t- shirt designs for the 2014 Telus Walk-Ottawa. They are currently trying to raise $1000 in donations. If you are intereste in helping them out check out their donation page and help them out to reach their goal.
